    Ten Reasonable Demands of the Bangladesh Expatriate Rights Council for the Socio-Economic Development of Nearly 20 Million Expatriates:**

    1. We demand the prompt implementation of the Policy 2022 for the transportation costs of deceased irregular, undocumented, destitute, and helpless expatriate Bangladeshi workers.

    2. We demand national identification cards and voting rights for expatriates.

    3. We demand an end to the harassment of expatriates at airports.

    4. We demand a modern dual citizenship law and pension benefits for expatriates.

    5. We demand broker-free passport and embassy services, including the opportunity for passport correction.

    6. We demand the formulation and implementation of a law for the protection of expatriates.

    7. We demand a special allocation (5%) for expatriates in the national budget.

    8. We demand government assistance in regularizing undocumented expatriates abroad.

    9. We demand sufficient Bangladeshi embassies and labor welfare wings for expatriates abroad.

    10. We demand that migration costs be limited to 100,000 BDT, along with employment opportunities and sufficient interest-free loan facilities for returning expatriates.
